Our editorial goal is to make recruitment information understandable without replacing official notifications. This policy describes how a Jobs247Alert record should be researched, organised and corrected.
Sources and attribution
Relevant sources include government departments, public service commissions, examination boards and recruiting institutions. Wherever supplied, the article should identify the recruiting authority and link to an official notice, application portal or result page. Reader-facing information must not be presented as an official declaration by Jobs247Alert.
What an article should explain
A recruitment summary should distinguish the role or posts, qualifications, relevant age and reservation rules, dates, fee details, selection stages and instructions to consult the source. When a notice covers several posts or categories, the differences matter; a single headline number is not enough to determine individual eligibility. An admit-card or result update should identify the examination stage and the corresponding official route to the document.
Verification limits
Imported material undergoes technical format and publishing checks, but those checks do not independently prove every fact in a government notice. The presence of an article is not a guarantee that each fact remains current. Information gaps should be disclosed rather than filled with invented values. Some updates may arrive after the original announcement.
Corrections, updates and removals
If reliable source information indicates that a material detail is wrong or has changed, we may update the affected article, identify a corrigendum, revise links or withdraw obsolete information. Not every source change can be detected immediately. Readers can submit evidence through the Corrections Policy page.
Commercial independence
Advertisements, if used, must be visually distinguishable from editorial information and official application links. An advertisement is not proof of a vacancy or an endorsement by a government agency. See the Advertising Policy.
