We want government recruitment information on Jobs247Alert to be usable on phones, tablets and computers, including by visitors who navigate with a keyboard or assistive technology.
Design approach
The website uses text headings, labelled navigation and responsive article layouts. We aim to keep links recognisable, forms labelled, and page content readable at different screen sizes. Source PDFs and linked third-party application portals are operated by their respective publishers and may have different accessibility characteristics.
Known limitations
Large official vacancy tables, linked PDFs, browser notifications and document uploads may not work equally well on every device. We have not certified the entire live website against a particular accessibility standard. Features and content may also change after an update.
