The Department of Posts has uploaded Supplementary List-1 for the 2026 internal competitive selection to Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant in the Tamil Nadu Circle. The updated allotment follows the 2026 Limited Departmental Competitive Examination and Data Entry Skill Test.

Who Is Affected?
The supplementary allotment concerns eligible serving officials in the Tamil Nadu postal circle who appeared in the relevant departmental promotion/recruitment process. This is not a fresh public vacancy advertisement. The memorandum says Supplementary List-1 was issued following declinations of earlier allotments.
The units and divisional heads concerned must follow the applicable appointment formalities; re-allotment requests are not entertained under this memorandum. All other conditions of the earlier 27 August 2026 letter continue, except the revised joining arrangements.

Use the official Department of Posts document to examine the complete supplementary list and allotment instructions. A candidate's personal data and unit allocation should be checked directly from the Department's PDF, not a copied list on an unofficial site.
